Line Out Converter or RCAs?

I have front component speakers on my car running off an amp, and am not completely satisfied.

So i bought a new amp, that has more power, and control...

My issue is that the input to the amp is from speaker wire... My new amp only has RCA's for signal input. So should I use RCA's or just hook up a Line Out Converter?

Please explain what the difference is. And what is the better option.

Thanks!

LOCs are used in installs where RCA connections can't be sourced from the head unit. If your head unit has RCA outputs, you don't need an LOC.

What year and make of vehicle? and are you using a factory or aftermarket head unit?

It sounds like his old amp had high level inputs but the new amp doesn't. If it was my car I would put RCA ends on the high level wires and use the RCA inputs on the new amp. Most people would opt for an LOC though.
