1 gallon, when used for recommended thickness, will cover usually around 50 sq feet.

just for an example, i did 2 layers on my entire floor(including trunk), sidewalls of the rear quarter panels, rear deck, and front doors, with 2 gallons of Edead V3.

Its not well known yet( because we have not really announced it yet) but we've accomplished alot in terms of pricing and easy of purchasing for us canadians up here with regards to our sound deadening products.

Our new website is still getting uploaded and finished, so we dont yet have canadian pricing up, but if you would like a quote PM me and i can get you one, dont want to do business on the forum

please, let me know if there is anything else youd like to know about the deadening.

hi..i'm new 12-01-2004 01:20 PM

a few people actually told me that canadian tire sold that sound deadening stuff under a weird name.. it was in a red can apparently and is pretty cheap. However everytime I stop in there and ask about it noone has any idea of what i'm talking about...

walmart,lol

yes, they sell undercoating, which is basically the same stuff.. I also tried some industrial roof 'tar glue' that was like $10 for a gallon... (look for stuff that dries fast!)

Anyway, it worked OK.. I've used spray on deadeners and undercoats in the past too... its all totally friggn messy- so I don't think I'll bother again...

I've got another budget deadening soluion I'll be trying over xmas... I'll report back in 2005 on how it worked... :D

yeah i was wondeirng because eDead from eDaudio is pretty cheap, and ive got a coupon for it that makes it about $37 US a gallon. only problem is that shipping is like the same amount as the actual deadener. anyone have any experience with the eDead?

If you check a few spots up it looks like they're trying to get some Canadian action going on. I'd message that guy and see what he can do for you ;)

thanks for all the replies people. do you think that 1 gallon would be enough to cover all the major parts in a smaller truck like a S10 or Sonoma?
