I'm someone to and I say you should focus more on having a good install and not having so many speakers. :p

Someone SHOULD have told you, that you should go and listen to the speakers you are interested in.

oppinions are like assholes.....everyone's got one and most of them stink. Make the judgement call yerself.....if you like it, **** everyone else.

And you should buy Focal.

DAM THATS A BLOODY GREAT LINE!!! But yah i understand what your saying but i want to know whats considered good out in the market now Personlly im happy with my SoundStream Toys. just want another set up now.

Hardwrkr 11-10-2006 03:27 PM

Soundstream is considered good in the market today.

If you're happy with it leave it alone. Like Brandon said everyone is going to give you an opinion and many of them are going to be recommending a product not because the user has tried many and found that one to be best but because that's the only thing they've ever heard so they're recomending it.

Most of the mainstream manufacturers make products that are considered good. There are products that are best suited for a specific purpose for the right person's needs and ears. In most cases no one can tell you exactly what that product is. YOU have to find the right product.

^ Right, before anyone can recommend anything, you have to specify the best in what, give things you are looking for.

Here is an example:

What would be the best amplifier I could purchase around 500$, that has the smallest foot print and the most channels with 18db minimum xover.

Then we know where to direct you as oposed to scenarios pointed out by the above poster IE: Well I used this so you should use it to.. or This is the most expensive so I recommend it.

Get it? :p

well I just want to know opioions and stuff like that and your right everyone has different point of views but i just want to know what everyone else thinkings thats why i called it List the Best.

Personlly I think DD sound like Crap for the only reason i have never heared them, so in my point of view there crap. But to like a million people point of view and heared them they insanely good sooo.. thats the kind of feed back im looking for.

from my limited stint in higher end audio store id say u wouldnt go wrong with focal speakers, zapco amps, xtant has performed quite nicely from what i heard for sub amps also...DD subs...and eclipse HU

4 sets of components? yikes! you must be rollin $$$ my friend. to many speakers will probably throw off your soundstage. i put a set of 4" in my rear doors and IMO threw things off. nothin wrong with soundstream in my book!
