check your vehicle voltage, might be a shot voltage regulator. If so, turn off the stereo...NOW! good luck...

bad amp ground is the only thing I can think of... possibly a problem with a sub ?

wierd, if the amp only cuts out when the rpm climb, then most likely it is related to that somehow. Would you say the voltage does not go over 14.5v when you rev? How high is the RPM when the amp kicks? does it turn back on when the RPM drops, or do you have to re-set it? Gotta eliminate the car as being the prob before you can look at the amp...
