Lookin to get a new amp. I want something that sounds good and will last. wanting maybe around i don't know 1500 watts. I have about $500 to spend. Is there anything that will fit my budget and still have that much power? I am just kind of starting out so need some help.

At what impedence?
You could easily find a used RF BD1500 or MTX 81000/1500 for that price.
The JBL1200.1's will do ~1400 and are in your budget.

The detailed product information can be found at this page and you can search at jbl.com if you want more info.

I bought one of them not too long ago and it's a nice solid amp for the price. I also have had a BP600.1 in my car for > 2 years and it's been great ever since day 1. Good luck

Thanks fabe. If you say they are good amps, i may wait for 1 more pay check and get one. Is it a good idea or a bad idea to order online. I still don't really trust the internet too much, its all so new to me ;)
