Looking for good 18" 100W RMS sub for HT

I want to replace my sony 10" that get's 100W. Any suggestions? I'll get an 18 and throw it in a big ported box.

u definetly mean 1000 not 100

wiltshire559 07-06-2007 08:03 AM

maybe HT is Home Theater and he wants a 8ohm sub so 100w would be plenty

never saw that, just saw his amp since this is posted in car audio

I have a old school MTX 15 that's still new in the box I've kept around for years to use in a HT set-up but never got to. I want $60 + shipping if your interested.

look at partsexpress.com and look to see what they got. they have a HT section there

The IXL18 would definitely make a very good HT sub...but with just 100 watts it might not be worth it.

Correct, the Home Theatre sub is 100W @ 8ohm.
