Looking for a new deck... What do you suggest?

So i recently bought a AVIC-D3 Nav/Entertainment sytem for my Ford Ranger... But the navagation system hasnt turned out to be very accurate/useful... So im in the market for a different deck... it does not have to have gps or play dvds but instead i want it to be the best sounding deck thats out there... This pioneer one doesnt sound very good on my system and i was more impressed with the sound quality of the 150 doller deck i had before it...

Any suggestions?

Nak CD700mkII would be one of your best choices if you're looking for "the best sounding deck thats out there".

Eclipse CD7200mkII excellent sounding deck
Kenwood X991 - great unit!
Clarion DRZ9255 - doesn't have many toys - and is quite pricy

You could get into the Pioneer PRS 800 deck for less than that and be blown away with options and SQ. It's got 5 volt outputs for your amps which has been proven. Some companies say they have certain amounts of output on paper, but don't deliver.
The D3 has 2 volts out max per set of channels, like most dvd decks and not much for tweaking. If you don't wire the VSS in, the nav isn't very accurate.
