good day, folks. i'm looking for some direction. i have an alpine dva-9861 deck that i am installing. i am looking for a way to play my creative mp3 player through the deck, but i don't want to go the fm modulator route. i am completely dissatisfied with the output thru the modulator. i have been looking at the alpine KCA-620M, but i have been hearing bad reviews about it. what is your opinion on the unit, and do you have any other options i could like at? i was told a cheap route to go is the KCA-121B.

also, i am looking to purchase sound deadening material. any opinions on the b-quiet material?

 

Well, I'm not sure if you own an IPOD or not but with that deck, you can control your ipod, once you connect the KCE-422i Cable. That would be One option that I personally would prefer, rather than purchasing that module to run USBs, to me it'd be a lot easier goin with the ipod cable and call it done..

 

the mp3 player i have is the creative zen vision:M 30G audio/video unit. the ipod accessory won't work

 

I know, that's why I said IF you own an ipod, you could go that route. You can keep askin around about the MP3 player Module alpine offers, and see what people say about it..some of the vendors on this site most likely carry alpine or may have had experiences with the module you mentioned..try that..keep researching till you're satisfied.

there maybe a wire form creative to ipod type thing look on ebay
