hey pedro,

since your from hamilton check out E.H.R, the people there are very knowlegable and helpful but their gear borders outrageous even when it is on sale.

its hard to answer your question because the scope has a broad range. but the best thing to do when building system is do alot of research and ask alot of questions.

for the type of system you want i would recommend investing in a good 4 channel amp and good component speakers. IMO, the speakers is more inportant than the amplifier, but that doesn`t mean you should go out to canadian tire and pick up an amp, just choose your equipment wisely, and spend your money once, not twice on gear you bought in haste.

as far as the sub choices? the sky is the limit, so best thing is to frequent alot of shops, and use this forum for the MOST important info and tips.

Make sure you also spend some money on good wiring. Who's doing the installation, yourself or a shop?

If you want to save money you should check out any of the site sponsors that are on this site, I'm sure any one of us will give you a better deal than any of the shops previously mentioned.
