Box is ported , tuned to 32 hz. My k2ps won't take any more on the lower end , when I started tuning I set my mids first , maxed them out then brought my tweets and subs up to match . As for boosting the low end I do this via control **** run to the 500/1 . It's a single band para I have it set at 38 hz , medium width , to help over power road noise . I like the flat freq. response because with anythig else I seem to be able to locate the speakers . Sound should come from my hood , nowhere else IMO . Thanks for the input , it,s appreciated whether I use it or not , for this is how we learn , well , this and tinkering .

Question

or an epicenter off for SQ and on for SPL... something like that? in a SQ show you can not move your settings for the spl part

but can you tell mw how your set up is ?

like do you have it set up like this (deck to ? then to amp/s or do you run deck to two amps for your highs and mids by a Y rca or do you have it set rca runs in one amp then the nexted )

Lightbulb

Trying to keep it __________________________________flat is the problem.

People with programmable EQs may have a programmed setting for that but nobody listens to it. Too lifeless. I prefer to have it higher on the bottom and then ramp down to the high end.

As for my own car and SPL: ~145db in SQ trim.

Hey theif, at what frequency do you have your system crossed over? Just wondering where you need to set it to keep the sound coming from the front.

well if you had an amp with sub level control you can use that to adjust between sq and spl or get an in dash eq with sub level control/line driver.
