i recently picked up a ma audio HARDKORE hk 1397 amp at a decent price and was wondering if anyone knows if they put out rated power?.this ones a 2 channel that claims to have 1600 rms at 4 ohms bridged and regulated with 4, 25 amp fuses.......could this be true or just another over rated amp?.

 

Isn't that a question you should have asked BEFORE you bought it?

one of those spur of the moment buys.(im sure we all have had one)figured a 100 bucks wasnt all that bad.

 

the amp is not that bad .. i had one a few years back on 3 Ma 18"s gets hot quick tho..

 

I hear ya...

 

It should put out around 800 watts, maybe a little more... still not bad for $100...
