hi guys. sorry if this seems to simple, but how can i calculate the " ^2 " in this equation?

Vb = Vas/((Qtc/Qts)^2-1)

BEDMAS

First, Qtc/Qts ... get that answer

Then hit the x² button on the calculator (that's ^2) ... get that answer

subtract 1 from that ... get that answer

divide that by Vas ... get that answer

hit the 1/x button ... then you have your answer.

Edit: Re-reading, ^2 means 'squared' or ²

okay, i did that but i get a weird answer.

#1 Qtc.- 0.707 / Qts.- 0.31 = 2.281

#2 hit the ^2 button, i get - 1.51

#3 minus 1 = 0.51

#4 VAS - 1.94 / 0.51 = 3.80

#5 hit the 1/x button and i get a strange number of 0.263 ??? < im messing up somewhere. but i dont know where??

when a member did the calcualation he got 0.462 which seems correct coz i have to add sub displacement to that. im just trying to do the problems by myself , os in the future i can just follow it instead of asking.

On your step #2, wouldnt hitting the ^2 button give you 2.281 x 2.281? Giving you the answer 5.203?

Thus your final answer would be around 2.17.

I could be wrong, I havnt done math for a bit.
