Watching CITY TV last nite. Guy in a black S-class benz is standing on the side of the road in Toronto I think........... car is a burnt wreck. CITY TV interviews him and I swear he said something about just having a system installed recently, and while driving he smelt smoke, looked back and one of the speakers was on fire. He couldn't put it out. The car was a total write-off as it eventually completely burnt to a crisp. What a waste.
Wonder who did the install.......... wonder if it was the install or something else??? Would be interesting to find out what happened............. someone is toast for the cost of an S-class, no pun intended. |
what an insurance scam
|
That's gotta suck.
|
ouch, speakers usually dont just go up in flames... but a big amp and shorted outputs can make quite a few powerfull sparks...
Maybe yuli is right... lol.. who was it that had the story about the guy who came in with the powerwire melted across his intake manifold and no fuse ??? LMAO ! |
I ain't one to blame but sometimes **** like that can happen, I take there word until proved other wise then it's point and laugh time.
|
i know joker whos car lit up like a christmas tree and no it wasnt an insurance scam lol

Knowing I laid all my own wire helps me sleep easier at night!

Probably an easier way to scam the insurance then to lite up your car in the middle of downtown Toronto :D Great for effect and to get yourself on TV though........... burn down an S-class Mercedes.
