MId-High end Brand names for NEW website
#1
I have compiled my own list of brand names I would like on my online car audio website. I wanted to see what other people think of when they think mid to high end brand names in car audio. The brand, the specific part (ie. sub, amp HU, speakers...) and if you could a reason why you like the brand. Thanks

Mid End Infinity - Decent Subs and Amps
Mid End Kenwood - Some pretty decent HU's.
Mid End X-site - Decent Amps.
High End Alpine - Great with warranties, awesome HU's, subs/amps aren't to bad either!
High End Eclipse - The best decks out there come from this company.
High End Pioneer - Great HU's, the Premier series is a real good series.

Soundsplinter subwoofers?
(built by TC Sounds)
they seem to be popular down in the US, not so much in Canada quite yet. just a suggestion though. i know i'd spend the money on some and more than likely will in the future.

intensem1rider... i am well aware of the buy in for each brand. I have no found out the exact prices. Rest assured however, the capital is there. Only the high end companies telling me that they refuse to sell directly to an online dealer is my obstacle right now. I am in the process of ironing out that large wrinkle.
P.S. I don't take any offense to what you said, it is a valid concern.

I would definately like to see the hidden name brands on that site, if i want alpine, eclipse, kicker, jl there littered all over the internet, and local shops, but if you get your hands on RE, ADIRE, Dynaudio, Image Dynamics, DSL, Focal and so on that would be great. It's easy for me to buy from the US since i live on the boarder, but if i can keep the income in my country even for a little bit more $$ i would love to purchase in Canada. Warranty dosen't seem to be an issue with people nowa days, warrantyless stuff has been selling like hot cakes in the US, it will most likely do the same here, but if warranty can be offered, thats a bonus.
Glad you didn't take offence to my earlier comment, looks like your on the right track doing your research before jumping in knee deep.

intensem, I plan on tryin to get some of those lesser known brands on my site, especially RE, Dynaudio, DSL and Focal. I also plan on tryin to become an authorized dealer for a least a few at first.
With regards to warranty, at the higher ends, people know the equipment better, and are less likely to damage it. The odds are much lower that you'll see a 8W7 being powered by a 1000/1 mono amp. Thus warranty isn't a big issue for people. But I am looking into the whole warranty thing as we speak, and making my judgements on what needs to be done

Not to diss you or anything, but umm where are you going to get the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ needed to buy into each companys minimum buy in? Your looking at about $10,000 for each top brand buy in.

So unless you are prepared to be moving tons of product from the word go, I'd hold off on bigger brand names and stick with the lesser known companies until you are sure you can meet their requirements...
