No my 1000R uses the first generation Alpha processor which was based on the 20 bit ASLC converter...

although the Z1 is a formitale deck, i have a really hard time justifying its price in comparison to this deck. in the grand scheme of things it was hard enough to tell the difference between your 9255 and the Z1 when i heard it, especially without an equivalent remainder of a system (there are enough pros out there that swear you can't tell the difference between decks unless something is wrong with one of them... do a search on car sound and performance to see what i mean...)
