While doing some research for my home theater set up in my future home I came across the monster cable site. I then notice they have a full line of car audio cables too.

Has anyone here used monster cable in thier car setup and if so are they worth the money?

Thanks.

ive used it quite a bit and i like it, but honestly i think it is a bit overpriced compared to cables of similar quality.

I doubt you'll hear much (if any at all) of a difference, with an average system, between Monster cables and your run-of-the-mill stinger cables.

This is a little off topic but my cousin picked up a "power conditioner" for his HT. Hey paid like $600 for this thing. WTF is a power conditioner! I think it was a total waist in money. I read the manual and it is funny how much techo blable and stuff they throw at you.

Marketing sucks!

IMO Monster cable makes some very nice stuff, but my new favourite wiring accessories is KnuKoncept.. they are still very good quality and low prices..

i just bought a 4 guage amp kit for 30 bux, and a .5farad cap for 40(both monster cable) at xs cargo. i thought it was a nice find
i was tempted to buy a few more and sell em on ebay. they go for 40-60 US on ebay(amp kits)

they also had some distro blocks for 15, fuse holders, and rcas rangine from 10-15 bux. one farad caps were 80 i think.

hehe, and on that note i also saw the biggest tweeter i've have held in my hand. it was thump or some garbage but it was rated at 650 watts, was a 2inch tweet, and the magnet was about 5 inch in diameter and weighed as much as a small 8's sub's(the whole thing must have been 3-5 lbs-im not really good with weight)
