most durable deck?

so im looking at getting a double din dvd deck and im wonder which company makes the most durable one as this is going into a 4x4 truck that will be hitting things...HARD

No deck is going to be any better than the other as far as how the laser transport is held. If you are hitting things hard, if you are using disc as the source, it is going to skip. If warranty in a concern (and it should be), Eclipse offers up 3 years parts/labour warranty on their units and are the longest standard warranty in the business. Their double din AVN726E is also on sale now and holds numerous awards as one of the best in the category for this year. ECLIPSE Car Navigation and Audio Systems | Fujitsu Ten for info on it.

ok thanks for the info and cd skipping is not a problem as i will be suing usb anyway i had jsut heard before that pioneer was a company that made decks that you could throw across your driveway and reinstall and they would still work and was wondering if that was the case still

i have not been able to find a proper double din dvd deck from eclipse on their site. i cant have a flip out screen flapping around on me lol

The standard $1,000,000.00 unless you have a white cat named Bigglesworth. There might be deals from the distributor in a couple months time, that would be the proper time to get you a quoto on it. Right now, it is up around the $1300 mark.
