as people of a mobile industry i'm sure we've all seen some pretty awesome stellar rides, but i'm also sure we've all seen some nasty stuff. so lets hear it all the horror stories of the most ghetto vehicles ever, or even ghetto installs that you've found in those ghettorific vehicles.

i think the sickest thing i ever found was in a late 80's f150 i reached under the floormat to run cables and it was all wet an sticky and it was puke man i was so sicked out.

Ive turned a few cars away...One had rotting salmon in the trunk. Nasty cars arent worth my time.

we had a jeep that's floor was a combination of cig butts, beer, kfc fries, oil, dirt and just random goo, that was 3" thick! The vehicle REEEKED of gas and a foul 'rotting' odour, it stank up our bay in 2 minutes! The guy had made his own fog lights out of plastic drink containers, lined with foil, and wired it with marettes. He had SILICONED these electrical disasters to his bumper!
He thought it was the coolest car around, of course. We turned it away... I'll never forget the look of disbleief that he had on his face..."Why?!?"
Where do I start...

I smell gas and the vehicle goes away.
Will not work on a vehicle with any type of fuel leak.

My nephew told me about one of his customers who likes to **** in his car and leaves his stained sleeping bag in the trunk... class.

Haha, timing is everything, did a Neon today that had massive puke smell. Worst car was a "rig rocket" when I was at Visions. It was a 77-79 Chrysler boat of a car. It had a who knows how old diaper under the drivers seat (the owner was 18 and didn't have kids and had the car for a year and a half). When I pulled the back seat up there were five, count them five dead mice. They weren't really decomposed, pretty intact, but they had been squished to a paper thin width. Probably been there getting squished every time a fat rigger sat in it for a year and a half.

I had one car that reeked of gas, that was my last one, I use tools that cause sparks, I don't need no friggin explosion.

Left us to do the HU install. You can still see the factory speaker left in it's location. The guy just cut out the surround and pulled out the guts and stuffed the 4x6 in place and used 3" screws to hold it in place.

He ran the 10awg powerwire through the door jamb and ran 18awg speaker wire to his 15" sub in the trunk, cut a hole in his trunk carpet to mount his ground aka tether because thats the only thing keeping the sub from moving around too much.

we had a car with no floor boards once, there was a 2x4 across the floor and both seats were attached to that 2x4. i think it was a camaro late 80's, it was scary and fun all at the same time trying to drive this in and out of the shop(you gotta remember im a big boy and a 2x4 aint too much assurance for my big a$$).

Working on F-150 (in Kamloops), cold winter day -24 or so. Had what looked like frozen mud, roughly 1-2 inch thick, laid down some towels. I mean the boss told me to get the job done. An hour later the mud started to thaw...it was cow SH*T...
