Hello, so im in the process of doing body work to my 89 daytona...and I notice this annoying bulge on one side with a antenna sticking out of it. I want to cut that bulge out and weld a flat piece in so that it dosnt look so ugly.

Where is another place the antenna can go without bulging out of the body? Should I attempt to even try and do this myself or take it into the shop? If I gotta take it into the shop how much should I be expecting to pay?

Hope I can get that ugly thing gone without spending to much...already got enough damn work with the rust. An average human would need a tetnus shot to look at the rust spot im attempting to fix.

I'd just nail it with a cut off wheel and glass the hole up...
