mp3 cd's
I've tried burning a couple mp3/wma cd's and they work (the songs can be played on other computers) But when i listen to them with my deck it will only play about 20/124 songs. It just skips the rest. This makes me mad because that's the reason i bought a new deck, to play mp3s.
Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks. |
some cd's work better with some decks than others. Try another brand of cd.
Also, try burning the cd at a lower speed maybe. |
could it be the names of the MP3 files? (too long and/or "weird" characters)
same goes to directory names |
MP3's
Also when you try and play them in your car, it burns the songs to different files so you will have to learn how to open different files with your deck.
Read up on the instructions of your deck |
Make sure all the file names of the songs end with .mp3 That will more then likely fix your problem.

make sure the bit rate at which you burn wma's on a disc, will match what your deck will recognize.
my eclipse8445 will only play wma's with a bit rate of 128kbps or less. it will not play the higher setting of 192kbps. |
What deck do you have ?.. I know that with certain decks, specially mine, It works even faster if you can make folders on your cd.. like I make up folders containing 20 songs each, and it really doesn't complicate anything when your trying to make a disc, it actually makes it easier to navigate through your mp3 cd quicker once you know where the good songs are.. orrrr just get an ipod integration kit.. best thing I ever bought :cheeky4:

Mine plays anything I hand it, mp3 or wma, rarely does it "not like" any files.
However, my Power Acoustik DVD player, hates everything I give it, burn a disk full of mp3's and it'll only see eight or ten of them. :dunno: |
