theres this guy down here saying there the best sub u can get will beat anything and u can run 6000wrms and not blow it now ppl whats the truth on these subs

tell him if he wants to really show it off, plug that sucker into a wall socket.

I have heard one, and they are pretty impressive, but I dont have anything more constructive to add.

They're a really nice ground pounder type sub for the price.

As for 6kw, ROTFL... he's a retard. If you actually got a true 6kw RMS going on one constant I think it's lifespan would be measured in minutes. Maybe he has them confused with the Jackhammer.

I owned a 8500 12 that I ended up selling to someone on this board and have played with a couple 9500 15s... they are nice drivers but are not really the end all be all of subwoofers if you ask me....

Id still take em over any kicker sub any day :cheeky4:

would any re series subs be better then the 9500's

There are a crapload of great subs on the market these days. The trick is to know which one is the right one for your application. Without knowing that all people can do is guess. I don't like to guess, what are you wanting to do? What is the vehicle, the balance of the system, future plans?

I had a mtx 9500 series sub...its rated for 1000 watts rms and is not reccomended to put any amp higher than the mtx thunder942 on it which puts out 700 rms at 4 ohms from 12.5 volt battery supply

MMATS pro audio....put those 9500 against the juggernauts, if you really want to see a comparison.
