They're a really nice ground pounder type sub for the price.
As for 6kw, ROTFL... he's a retard. If you actually got a true 6kw RMS going on one constant I think it's lifespan would be measured in minutes. Maybe he has them confused with the Jackhammer.

I owned a 8500 12 that I ended up selling to someone on this board and have played with a couple 9500 15s... they are nice drivers but are not really the end all be all of subwoofers if you ask me....

There are a crapload of great subs on the market these days. The trick is to know which one is the right one for your application. Without knowing that all people can do is guess. I don't like to guess, what are you wanting to do? What is the vehicle, the balance of the system, future plans?
