Multi-Source [Clarion & Eclipse]
Multi-Source [Clarion & Eclipse]
I just bought a 03 Ford Explorer about a month ago and I have to get a new stereo.
I really like the Eclipse AVN7000, I like how it pops out of the dash like that.

What are some other good stereos that do that and are Multi-Source?
Since the Eclipse AVN7000 has been discontinued and Eclipse doesn't even exist anymore would it be a good idea to buy a used one?
I don't need the GPS so I obviously wouldn't need the map updates. But what else could be a concern if I bought an AVN7000?
Should I just get a Clarion instead? What are some newer models that don't come with GPS? Because I know the mondels that don't come with GPS are obviously cheaper.
What about the VZ401?

Also if you have a TV Tuner for either Clarion or Eclipse, what does that allow you to do?
Is it kinda like the satellite radio thing where it's Sirius/XM ready, but you have to have a subscription?
Please somebody explain the TV Tuner to me
