On a fun note, if anyone was every curious as to why pretty much all recordings done with a camcorder in a car to show mow much flex there is sounds like putting a card in a bicycle spokes. It's because you are severely deforming the diaphragm of the mic in the camera, I actually cracked one and everything after that sounded really interesting, luckily I got it covered under warranty.

is that in turn, bad for my speakers to try and reproduce that sound?
