Well Ive done some research, not a whole lot, but I found what Im looking for so I need to know where to get it from.

Things Im looking for:

6-7" Touchscreen Nav DD Head Unit
Flash Based nav
Usb+SD mp3 + mp4/dvix playback
BT
Steering wheel control
aux in/out

remote+removeable faceplate = bonus

Under $1000 Shipped.

I found it @ sonic electronics in the states for 779.99 + 68.99 for the steering wheel module. + 33 shipping = 881.91 = $950 CAD. I guess they use UPS, but for $30 more I can get it shipped USPS. Ive had a bad experience with UPS before from an EBAY purchase so Im not too use on this.

Also from Amazon Marketplace bestseller21 has em for about the same price, uses Fedex to ship, again from the states, so im little torn.


Anyone have experience with any of these, or other purchases from the states?

its going into a 2008 F350 Super Duty.

as long as the unit does what I want and is as good or better than the JVC Ill consider it for sure

What are the differences between the 2 head units besides the non detachable faceplate and the remote bonus features I mentioned above?

I did have the eclipse in mind as well, can rem why I went to the JVC, maybe price??
