my car might be bugged

Hi my names mike and i don't know anything about cars or car audio so i thought i would check out a forum and ask for some help or advice. I believe i might be the victim of some kind of disturbing prank. I think my car has been illegal tampered with and has had electronic audio devices installed without my consent. I know this because i can hear a separate form of audio NOT coming from my car radio or speakers and its not other vehicles that pull up beside me or that are parked near me as i have tested that theory. I have no idea how this happened or when???! I have taken my car to my normal car place to have it inspected but honestly they mainly do oil changes and general maintenance to my 4 door 05' Cobalt. They did not find anything and i wasn't even sure what they were looking for either so i had no luck. The audio i hear is muffled and sounds like there is an echo to it, sometimes it sounds like a an old radio or a cell phone on speaker...if that helps or makes any sense. can some one explain to me how the heck something like this is possible? Is there something installed? Is it a blu tooth device? A cell phone? Wouldn't a separate set of speakers no matter how small require a power source? Am i charging whatever this thing is every time i start the car? Whatever it is i can hear it even when the car is off and it is very well hidden as i have checked the interior and exterior of the car myself. Note once again that i am no expert in this field what so ever. Any kind of advice or suggestions on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks from canada.

Dis-connect your battery and see if you still hear it.

You can always buy a hunting ear from Cabela's and follow the sound to it's source

BTW...if the sounds are coming from your head...neither of the above suggestions will help:smokin::smokin::smokin:
