Speakers, Sub, and AMP questions.
 

Greetings,
Currently, I have a setup with a Pioneer DEH-80PRS, Infinity Kappa 9s (6.5" front, 6x9" Rear), a Kicker DX600.5 AMP, and a JL WXv2 sub. I am not sure if its cause the install was botched but my audio is no better than my factory setup in some cases it sounds worse!
I already am planning on a sub upgrade.....

Licking my lips on a JL Audio W3v3 with either a Alpine MRX-55 or a JL JX500/1D
Leaning towards the Alpine amp only cuz its S/N is 90db vs JL's 62db
Which one would you choose?
Opinions on if a Morel or Memphis sub would be better in close to same price?
I want power in a sub that has Punch, Boom, and SQ.

If extra money is leftover I am looking to upgrade my speakers amps too,
for this I am not 100% sure what to get,
Again JL's amps specifically the JX360/2 (Would buy two of them) caught my eye...... but again I am turned off a bit by a 77db S/N
Any recommendations?

They a bigger problems comes up when looking at different speakers.... my infinitys just have no WOW factor to them....
Looking at JL Audio C3 6.5" Components.
The shop I am going to get this done with also seems to preach Memphis and Morel. They say Memphis is better than both JL and Infinity and Morel is the best opinion of all (but expensive)

Is there any truth to the greatness of Memphis and Morel? and what would you buy that gives out Power, Clarity, good SQ and a WOW Factor vs the pricing of the JL C3 (~$400 a pair).


The shop I am going to for installing is going to see what the damages are but a a bad local installer for all I know my setup is decent. Mainly I want some recommendations on what I listed to help clear my confused noob head on what is better for what price in case I am told I need to replace these items coming up soon and/or if a upgrade is needed for better sound.
