dont think of what will hold it down while normal driving. think worst case scenario! a crash, where is the box going, forwards. how fast, as fast as you were traveling. make sure its down tight, i would suggest the weld putty. thats some solid stuff when it cures.

A definite no to velcro. In BC unless the item is mounted to the vehicle with some kind of attachment that requires a tool, it is not covered by ICBC in the event of a theft. Get it secured using the straps and screws.

 

Hey guys, id like to make a public appology. My sarcastic and negative comments towards eggy and his questions were unjustified. Eggy im sorry for my snappy and mean comment, i shouldnt be one to talk as im in quite new to the industry and have looked up to others for my help, and they didnt put me down.
