My carputer in action (youtube high quality)
Since we are on the topic of carpcs, where do you buy parts for it, say power supply, here locally. I've found about 2-3 places. Any places that are particularly good? I couldn't google anything on opus PS, neither any carnetix. I really hate buying from US

I hate having to order as well, I'd rather drive an hour and pick something up.
That being said, I had to order the Carnetix from mp3car.com as well as some other parts. You just can't get them locally.
I was able to order and pickup my Xenarc 700TSV and picopsu from a place in Pickering called PCX Computers. They have quite a few psu's...the m2-atx is quite popular. The opus and carnetix are a notch above.

EDIT : toronto island airport?
Thx for the props, it's kinda jerry rigged, my fabrication skills and tools are kinda lacking, some of the guys on here could probably do alot better.
My skills are mostly on the PC end and software.
Love my milly, great looking car, it was desighned almost 15 years ago...
The best carputer car in my opinion would be a 2003 BMW 540i Mtech, nice spot for integrated screen, no existing ***** or screens to worry about and car can be fully control by PC, ie HVAC windows doors alarm etc...
Saving my pennies, hopefully in a couple of years pick one up for around $15K
Take car and happy holidays
12V/5V for Motherboard, 5V for harddrives cd drives, also needs 3.3V for somethig else..
The Carnetix only provides a steady 12V, even during cranks, i also have another mini psu, its actually called picopsu, that splits the 12v into the voltages a regular pc requires...
oh, you are definately not stupid, your spl reputation preceeds you..
