buddy wanted to mount his deck inside of his dash in his 77 buick instead of lettin it hang down like he had it before.
so, out came the tools.. cut out 2 layers of dash, fully hardwired it all in, works like a charm.
hes runnin at JVC KD-AR3000 headunit, pioneer 5x7 in the rear, JVC cs 2 channel amp, infinity 12" and my old box,
now onto the pics, it took about 5 hours or so because we didnt wanna **** up, plus takin the dash apart took ages lol.
and onto the pics..
the car (403 bigblock
) :

console after cut and deck in:

test fitting:

end result after wiring:

the wires hanging down will be cleaned eventually, ill be redoing his whole amp install for him.
what do you all think.

on a side note it's a sad day when people think of a 77 olds 403 as anything more than the slug it is

that old beast brings back memories of my first car...a 1977 Ford LTD II with a JVC twin shaft, Pioneer tune-up tweets, and Alpine 6x9's, I loved that car, and the big 351 under the hood. AHH!the good old days....
