I don't like the new model. The magnet is dumb on em. I know they were just trying to make them round like a ROUND sub haha with a square face/cone but still...
Be careful. I melted mine with my Alpine MRD-1001. 1000rms !!! What it's rated for and it couldn't hack it... the second one I had anyways. Probably woulda been better if I didn't put it in a 6ft^3 box with a huge port and ran a bass cd.

what are your plans for enclosure?

Kicker has build specs on their website as well for the sub.

you might need more square inches of port if your gonna be giving it 1500rms

Have two of these in my Bimmer , they pound like crazy but still not enough for me . If u have a hatchback then ur lucky..
