My new system

This is the new system in my 04 300m special:
Alpine 9833
Alpine pxa-h701 with contoller
Rockford p4004
Hifonics bx 1205d
Alpine 3503 x 2

This is a 5.1 system with 1 3503 running at 2 ohms for the front tweeters, 1 3503 at 4ohms for the center channel. The Rockford is running the front 2 channels at 2 ohms for the mids, while the rear fill 6x9's and door tweeters are at 4ohms. The Hifonics is running the subs at 1ohm. All drivers except the rear tweeters are actively crossed through the pxa.

Speakers are:

Infinity kappa 60.7 up front ( 2ohm drivers)
Jbl p692 rear + 1" silk tweets in the doors
Factory Infinity center speaker(2.75" i believe)
Alpine type R dual 4 ohm subs(2) wired parallel for a 1ohm load.

Net power is approx. 1550-1600 watts rms
Sounds great so far but I'm sure I'll be tweaking for a long time.
See photos below, let me know what you think.

Talking

Nicely done Veeman....

Is that the same box the Infinity's were in?

Gotta love the displays at night shot.....they just look so pretty all lit up like that.....

^^yes sir, it is. It was designed for the Alpines, but since I had the Infinitys, I put them in. Sq wise, the Alpines and the Infinitys are about the same, but the Alpines have twice the power going to them now, so they are louder. Here are some more night shots:

no video yet, and I'm lovin' the pxa. That thing is crazy, you seriously could be screwin' around for a lifetime...which is cool with me 'cause I like screwin'...girls...no seriously. It's amazing, 8 channels of x-o with 6,12,18,24,and 30 dB slopes, 8 ch. time correction, 5 ch. of 31 band graphic eq + 10 band sub eq, 5 ch. of 5 band parametric + 2bands for the sub, and all the dolby, dts, Mx, etc... There's so much stuff I had to read the manual 4 times to just get a handle on it. The sound quality is great, very quiet, I understand it uses multiple 20 bit Dac's. Very high quality unit, and i got it for a very good price from an excellent member of the board, Dawgsbreakfast, very cool guy.
