Ok Mr. Bodar, here's the scoop.....:D

First off, thats a decent selection of equipment for a starter system. I wouldn't worry too much about the box you have now. It will work fine with the subs you have and replacing it with a box that will make those subs sound appreciably better will cost enough that you might as well save that level of effort for new, better subs. I wouldn't swap the Exiles for the RF, 1 sub is going to have a hard time outdoing 2 of them.

If the amp goes into protect that regularly I hope there's nothing wrong with it. The power and ground connections could be causing the problem, but I would suspect an impedence issue with the speakers. The amp is good for a 2ohm mono load and I'm wondering what those Exile subs are configured for....:dunno:

Don't mind the odd sniper here on the board, some people have too much time on their hands and too much experience in car audio.......:lol_hitti

HTH

Good pics...I think they will work fine as they look good... with the subs you have and replacing it with a box that will make woofers...

cav2nv420 10-24-2007 09:14 AM

if you dont use the RF how much do you want for it? lol

bodar 10-24-2007 09:48 PM

if i dont use the RF it will make a nice paper weight for now.... the subs are wired to a 2ohm load. i DO NOT like this amp. i need a diffrent one. i also have a redtop to put in and a bigger under hood fuse, as i am currently using an 60amp fuse. less resistance = more power ive read. i also have soundstream 5.25", 4", tweets and crossovers to install. also need an amp for those. the box is prolly gunna go to, i have a couple friends that are good carpenters. and they accept beer. :)

this is really my second full setup, my first one was pioneer - Phoenix gold octane r's. lol, those exiles sound alot better than those PG's, but new skool PG sucks anyway. and yes i am aware that Exile is the "Old boys" from PG. anyways thanx for the replies. il post a vid up soon with the subs movin'
