Hey, first of all, I'd like to say hey to everyone on the board, I've browsed it for a couple days and it looks like a pretty solid forum.

I drive a '95 Nissan 240sx coupe. I just recently got into car audio, so I still don't know that much about it.

Right now I have a cheap Kenwood deck I bought a while back before I got into car audio. It only has a single pair of pre-outs so I will be replacing it eventually.

I blew my rear 6.5's and replaced them with a pair of JL Evolution TR650CXi's. I have a set of Aura MR62 components on their way right now that will be going in my doors.

I also recently got a Profile CL640 (75x4 RMS @ 4 ohms) to power the interiors.

But recently I changed my mind and have been thinking of bridging 2 channels to an Adire Audio Koda8 8" subwoofer. The bridged channel will feed it exactly the recommended RMS.

For my rears, I will probably just power them off the head unit.

Now for a question...do you think this small sub will be able to keep up with these components? I listen to a wide variety of music, but mostly hard rock and virtually no rap/r&b.

I was planning on buying a new h/u next, then an Image Dynamics IDQ10 along with an appropriate sub amp, but this new route will save me mucho deniro.

Sorry for making this so long for my first post.

Oh, also, any opinions on how this will sound in the end with a proper install and a good coating of sound deadner?

Welcome to CCA..I'm not all that familiar with the product listed...however I'd recomend the 10 over the 8...

240's have very good acoustics. Also I find them to be a very easy car to get good sound out of. If you just want accurate bass, an 8 will do in that car. Also there is not alot of height in the trunk of those if it's a coupe or if you want to keep the box under the rear seat height in the hatch. What you have is a good start to a nice sounding system. Make sure the install, is up to par and all should be good.

I'm glad to hear my car has good acoustics. Thanks for the comments.
