OK...so i've noticed that i've been clipping my amp a lil bit and so i've turned all the gains down. And well i've lost a bit of volume (i thought it sounded decent before, but yeah)

Currently i run a concept cc-504 which gives off 75x2 + 35x2 @ 4ohms. Currently the 75w go to my CDT CL-61 comps and the 35x2 go's to the stock 6.75" speakers.

I'm lookin for something that'll do about 100x4 or more, but i've just never researched these amps or needed to so i don't have a clue what to look for. I don't need to spend an arm and a leg on this, cause it turns out i'm poor. But i do need a goal here. So someone give me some suggestions on some decent amps that'll complete my needs.

Why not consider going with two 100x2 amplifiers. You have a lot more choices in doing that.

 

never thought about that, just always assumed it'd be either more expensive or even harder on the electrical system....

guess it'd work though, then i could do like 125x2 and 75x2 which is more practical

 

an older Rockford Fosgate 800a4 (punch series)

100x4 at 4 ohms, 200x4 @ 2 ohms.

400x2 at 4 ohms bridged.

I just sold my new in box 800a4 for $400 so you should be able to get a used one for $250-300?
