What are the better brands?
the best budget brands?
brands to stay away from?
good places to get them?
Are 6x9's that handle 100wrms really twice as good as one that handle 50wrms?
would putting 4 of them in my hatch facing forward sound good/loud/what?
any opionins welcome.

What will you be using them for? Rear fill? What else will you be running with these?
Personally I'd recommend against filling your hatch with 6x9's if you want any sort of SQ at all. All having those back there will do is draw the soundstage to the rear of the car. You'd be best off with a good component set up front and no rear fill. If you're going to put 6x9's in the back just put two, and only use one ways so you're not getting so much of the high frequencies coming from the rear and drawing your soundstage back there again.

Any set of cheap 6x9s will work, just be sure to fade more to the front, after all, I hate hearing sound only coming from 6x9s in the back.

Thanx Z thats another Q I had in my head lol about the fade to front less in rear. Considering when I turned everything on today I seem to have heard still a lot of bass comin from my 6x9's lol
I run 2 Blaupunkt 6x9's in my car in the rear of course, they run awesome, made my car sound like they already had a sub I do believe I paid like $180. Can't remember it was at xmas. But Goodluck!

No prob. My temp bass was made with some NOs Pioneer 6x9s I bought off of ebay for $15 american. did the job till I built my box for 12s.
I tend to use 6x9s in larger vehicles more than smaller ones. If you had a big suv or a big sedan, than rear fill would be a good idea.

I've used Blaupunkt OverDrive 4 way 6x9's in my hatchback, and surprisingly have real good bass. They were in a .7 cu ft box each and I had my hatch closed to kill off the high notes.
From my recollection they are the only DVC 6x9 I'm familiar with, and are rated at 150 RMS. I had 120W running to them and it maxed them out easily, though.
