Need Advice Please
I am in Mascouche,,,,, and starting to get in the game AGAIN... got the avic f90bt.... to start, then I added Premier 6x8s in the 4 doors... now in a few weeks... Im gonna get a Hifonics brutus amp....(some guy here sells them.. I saw his add on Kijiji and he seams to have a lot of good stuff....) now I have no idea on what to get for subs,,, I have about 1000$ to spend on a pair or 12s or 15s with that amp to push them to the limit and that includes the box... dont know if I should make the box or just buy it... I have a 2006 ford fusion and I am willing to give up HALF my trunk for the box what do you guys recommend for hard hitting bass that I can feel with a well insulted (factory)trunk car.... My trunk is pretty big... and I really dont mind driving around with one of my back seats folded down.... but it would be nice to keep them up.... I would also like to not use a ported box as if I were to buy one I am sure that it would not be made for the subs I put in them...I can easily make a sealed box.... I have what I think is a pretty good buget to put on a AMP to run 2 subs and a box/or building a box for 1000$ 2 gauge wire is already passed, did the BIG "2"(could not do the alt to bat wire as mine has a plastic hookup on it that I cant tap in to easily)and RCAs are passed. now for now I will run the door speakers off the deck, but I WILL add a 4 ch soon so we wont worry about that now... so again... what should I get I have 1000$ cash I need 2 subs(or one ) a amp that can push them, and the box or box building materials... im sure I can get that.. cant I?
I dont mind Mail order, as long as shipping is not too $$$$
how is Hi phonics..... are they any good?
a guy here sells them....Ill post his link if I am allowed, for you guys to check him out to see what he has is any good...

HiFonics are great for the price as far as my experiences with them goes. If you have $1000 budget for amp and sub I'd really point you towards getting a mnster 12, a good solid amp, 0 guage wirinng and build your own custom ported box. As for which round thing to put into the emplty hole of a sub box, there's MANY MANY excellent choices out there.
