I wish I could hear the speaker options because I have been so out of the loop and I cant decide what I like more.

The hybrid audio stuff looks great. I like all of the options. I am a bit worried about the size of the woofer being 7" OD, this is why I am not looking at Dynaudio. I really need a 6.5" woofer, i think. I will try to remove my door panels and see if I can in fact go with a larger driver.

Sonic: I think I will run the sub off the other two channels on the 4 channel amp.

You may be able to squeez in the 7" OD, but yes to be sure take off the panel and measure up.

The best way to decide is to hear them, but unfortunately not too many place to audition them these days.

Most of the car audio shops in my area sell cheap stuff. The few high end shops around have either closed or dont display the high end stuff since so few people buy it.

Hey so what do you guys think of Butler Audio tube driver amplifiers? I only see 2 channel and 1 channel, but are they good? I remember liking them years ago but nobody even mentions them.

ok so an update. I got the 8" 3-way Dynaudio components off ebay. I will see if I can build an adapter to fit the 8" speakers into the doors, if not then I will get some 6.5s to replace the 8s.

i went with them because I got them at a good price and I have heard these and I really like them.

The new Ppi unit looks good, mini dsp based software, easy to use. Price is also very good.

I have a question and i'm really new to car audio.

I have a 4 channel amp with a pair of 6x9's and a pair of 4x10's and a self powered sub running off of my head unit. (It's a JVC with 3 pairs of RCA's [R,L,Sub]) I know that i can run all of this from my head unit. WHAT I DON'T KNOW! Can i run the front door speakers off of the factory wiring connected to the head unit? My front door speakers are 5-way 4x6's that are 40 watt rms.
