Need amp selection help
Hi everyone, I just registered, this is my first post. I was wondering if you guys can help me find a good amp that will be able to handle my sub, I have a Fusion NV-SW15, it is a 2500 watt max sub, 1100 watts RMS. I am having real difficulty finding something that will power this properly and I might have to shop online for something.
Here are the subs specs- Max Power Rating (Watts): 2500 RMS Power Rating (Watts): 1100 Coil Height (Hvc): 40 Compliance (Cms): 146.18 Cone Area (Sd): 77.93 D.C. Coil Resistance (Re): 0.88 Electrical Q (Qes): 0.552 Force Factor (Bl): 8.4 Free Air Resonance (Fs): 23.62 Frequency Response: 19Hz - 500Hz Gap Height (Hag)(mm): 10 Impedance (Nominal): 1 Inductance (Le) (mH): 0.51 Linear Excurson (Xmax): 40 Mechanical Excursion (mm): 15 Mechanical Q (Qms): 6.17 Moving Mass (Mms):285.85 Sensitivity (dB) (1W/1M):87 Total Loudspeaker Q (Qts):0.506 VAS (L): 126.07 VAS (CuFt): 4.45 Magnet Structure (Oz): 308 Total Loudseaker Displacement (L): 12 Money is not an option for me, I just want the best possible amp for my sub. Thanks in advance guys. |

What more can I say, other than, it's Audison ;) The LRx line is being discontinued in favour of the new Voce lineup, so these should be cheap(er) where ever you find them. |
The BRZ line up from hifonics looks great. 1000W RMS - 3000W RMS for $200+ on ebay. Many are claiming they do slightly above rated, and they are also CEA certified now.
I found when researching that line of amps that they use the same boards as the AQ2200D which seems to be highly recommended for their higher then rated power output. AQ2200D http://www.db-r.com/misc/04-2010/aq2200d-002.jpg BRZ2000 http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...7112010106.jpg |
