I am installing my CD changer in the storage compartment between my seats and need a custom metal brakcet made in a "U" shape (so that the two sides of the "U" run up along side the changer to the mounting plates) to mount the changer to the car. Any suggestions?

Thanks as always.

Lawrence.

Make one.

Some flat bar and a torch will work. It will take some time but will cost you next to nothing.

Even easier is a chunk of aluminum, a vice and a hammer. Aluminum cuts real easy with a jigsaw or tablesaw and bends super easy when put into a vice and banged with a hammer.

you can buy angle brackets anywhere from 1/2" to 4" for sure. A pair should do - drill your own holes if needed.

Or CT, Rona, HD all have that "Metal Bits" section with ready rod, angle iron, etc. They have what looks like huge backstrapping in there too. Heavy, has holes, is cheap
