In Need of EQ Adjustment Intelect
 
Hey everyone,

So, I've read through some of the other threads and I've continued to try to work with what I've absorbed. The problem is I still can't get my stereo to sound just right. I listen to everything from Dre to Disturbed to SRV, so what I'm really looking for is something that I can turn the volume way up, feel the thump of the bass, but also maintain good audio on volcals and guitar and all that jazzz.

I know only half of it is the stereo, and the rest is the speakers, and I still have my original '97 speakers. So, If you could also recommend a decent and affordable upgrade, I would VERY much appreciate it.

So this is what I got:

Pioneer DEH-P25 - 3 Band Parametric Equalizer

Possible EQ Adjustment Settings

Low:
Frequency: 40-80-100-160Hz
Q Factor: 2N-1N-1W-2W

Mid:
Frequency: 200-500-1k-2kHz
Q Factor: 2N-1N-1W-2W

High:
Frequency: 3.15k-8k-10k-12.5kHz
Q Factor: 2N-1N-1W-2W

Loudness Contour:
Off-Low-Mid-High

Front Image Enhancer:
Off-100-160-250Hz

Source Level Adjustment:
-4 to +4

Front/Rear Balance:
F15 to R15

Left/Right Balance:
L9 to R9
