I have 2 12" Memphis audio speakers and my left one started to cut out on me the other day. Its a 4Ohm speaker and when measured, its reading right at 2ohms. Anybody know what could be causing this and how i could fix it?

 

exactly what model is it? Are they both the same model? What is the other one reading? Are they dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm or single 4 ohm voice coil?
How are each connected? What measures 2 ohms? Each speaker? Are both speakers connected when you measure? Please be much more precise so we can help you.
