Need Help Choosing A Amp?

I have a "12" Cerwin Vega its the older style its never been hooked up what amp should I use to power it?

choose a brand you like, that offers an rms output appoximately the same as what your sub is rated for.

Any 2 channel mono amp that when bridged provides between 200 and 450 w rms into 4 ohms or any mono amp that does not exceed the same rating into 4 ohms. The benefit to a mono amp is that it will allow you to add a second identical sub or replace the old one you have with two new ones at a later date without buying a new amp. The 2 channel for the most part will equal buying a new amp.

I think that amp bridges 2 channels to 400 watts @ 4ohms. Perfect, for your sub, and you can use the other 2 channels for your front speakers.
