Need help with Expediton system

I just joined the forum and have a dilemma..

I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer expedition, which has the Mach factory system in it with a factory amp.

I have a system for it, just a basic 1000 watt amp and two 10s.

I like the factory system in it, so i decided to go with a line output converter.
Never tried one of these things before.

So, I ran all my amp wires, power, ground and remote, i wired the remote wire to my radio fuse...

I opened the hatch up and accessed the 8" factory sub and used those speaker wires to attach the LOC, only using one speaker to get both my left and right signals maybe the problem but i just wanted to see if this thing works... hooked my RCAs up to the LOC and ran to the amp and hooked my subs to the amp...

BOOM it was working... played for a minute or two and turned the radio volume up a little and heard a click noise, now the subs receive no power from the amp...

Put in a spare amp to check it, nothing changed... can you blow a LOC?
Im lost right now..
Any help guys?

Amp powers up fine... power remote and ground seem fine...
