Need help finding carpet
Need help finding carpet
My task for this up coming winter break is to redo my trunk. I'm going to start with deadening everything back there (since the doors are done) and building a false floor. The stock one has since caved in, and removing the spare tire will provide a great place for my amps.
I really don't want to stare at MDF or painted MDF, so what should I use (and more importantly) where do I get some carpet? I also want to carpet my sub box since I split the wood on it a bit
(its sealed with cocking though)
In the spare tire area will have my 2 amps. A class A/B Quart MB DSC4125 (1000WRMS) and a class D alpine MRP-500 (500wRMS) How much airflow do you think I might need? It is fairly spacious, but I think some intake/exhaust fans will be needed.
Anyone care to comment on their experiences?

Speaker City in Vancouver can provide the trunk liner carpet, as can most car audio shops in your area.
If you're concerned about the amps overheating, you can easily install a cross-flow fan to help cool the amps.

car audio store may not be the best for me. I'm going to need a far amount, and I don't want to pay a ridiculous price for it. In some of the search results that I found, they said to check out Canadian tire, But their website has nothing, and the employees seem to know even less.
Thanks for the help.
