For 1000w RMS I'd suggest taking a look at the 2515 from DD.

It'll get very loud on the power you have, and comes with the right coils to match up with that amp.

Not to mention it will save you a few bucks over the 35. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

 

I'd suggest the RE SX as it's a good woofer if your using less wattage. I'd say that if you are only going to be running 1000 watts, the 3515 won't be as loud as an RE SX, until you put over 2000rms to them.

As for the 2ohms part, you will have to get the custom 1ohm coils as the SX comes normally with 2 ohm coils.

 

I would recomend the DD products,PM jordy for a price. He's super reliable!(my 2 cents)

 

Thanks for the input guys. As for the L7, I've heard good things, but alot better about the Atomic Apocalypse, and I can get the atomic sub for a better deal.

what amp are you running? do u have the power to run the atomics? they are going to need alot more then the L7's to reach their prime.

 

I have a pioneer prs-d3000spl amp ( 1000 w/rms x1 @ 2ohms) It powers the apocalypse series good cause they are rated at 1000 w/rms and I was talkig to an atomic guy and he said taht would be good. Have you had experience with atomic subs?

 

i don't know if u have made your disicion but another sub that i think would work well for u is the hertz hxs 15 handles real well under load and can dig real deep!

 

Digital Designs 2500 series 15" is a great performer for the dollar.

If your looking to add to the system later, invest in the Digital Designs 3500 series for additional power handling.
