NEED IDEAS 15" sub w/ about 1000 w/rms
For 1000w RMS I'd suggest taking a look at the 2515 from DD.
It'll get very loud on the power you have, and comes with the right coils to match up with that amp.

I'd suggest the RE SX as it's a good woofer if your using less wattage. I'd say that if you are only going to be running 1000 watts, the 3515 won't be as loud as an RE SX, until you put over 2000rms to them.
As for the 2ohms part, you will have to get the custom 1ohm coils as the SX comes normally with 2 ohm coils.

I have a pioneer prs-d3000spl amp ( 1000 w/rms x1 @ 2ohms) It powers the apocalypse series good cause they are rated at 1000 w/rms and I was talkig to an atomic guy and he said taht would be good. Have you had experience with atomic subs?
