Need more power for amps

I have 2 big audiobahn amps that are sucking all the power up. I have 0-gauge wire 2- batterys and 2 -1 farad caps but the amps are still cutting out. Does anyone have any ideas.

When you say big what do you mean? The 5k amp? The "big" 5 k amps can handle 0 gage inputs no problem 2 for hot and 2 ground. They love 16 volts if it can get it or at least mine does. If your "big amp" is like mine, run as much 0 gage as you can to the amp then step it down via distro block to match the amp input. I personaly have 4 hot and 4 ground from a group 51 yellow top and still can run into problems. Hope this helps.

Post way more info dude, vehicle info, system info and as many model #'s and descriptions as possible. Otherwise we can summise that the chrome on the amps is not doing it's job properly.

my set up

I have 2-Audiobahn A18001DT D-class amps. 4-ohm mono 600x1 2-ohm mono 1200x1 1-ohm mono-1800x1.
1 audiobahn A2201T A/B class amp 2x50 watt RMS. 4-12" alum12n subs 1000 RSM 18-500 HZ frequency. 2-1 farad caps (digital) 24 volt rated 30 volt surge. All power wire is 0-gauge wire all ground wire is 0-gauge to. Rest of the wire ie. remote is 4-gauge wire. 2 180 amp fuse's on the A18001DT amps. 2 yellow top batterys 200 amp circuit breaker up front & 200 in the back. All of this is in a 93 olds cutlass. Last year hit a 148.9 db. not to bad for some one that put it all together on a weekend. So what should I do for mor.r.r.r.r.r.e power. Alternator is upgraded to.

4ga remote wire? isn't that a bit overkill?

Get ride of the bottle neck. How many runs of power/ ground. Get more. What size of yellow tops? Posibly more inut to them via charging source.

summise is a type of urban slang.

Where did you get your upgraded alt? A lot of them are crap...

If this is just for max SPL:

Make sure Alt to battery pos, battery neg to block, and block to frame are 1/0.

Run dual 1/0 from front battery to rear battery. Put a circuit breaker on the front and rear of each line (can skip this if you want max voltage and don't care about possible fire). Get rid of the caps. 1/0 from battery direct to each amp. I wouldn't fuse this at all if it's short.

Ground back to the rear battery. If you have a frame ground to the frame. If it's unibody, and I think it is, I'd consider running dual 1/0 back to the front battery.
