need a new audio system for my car

hey guys was wonderin if anyone could help me out.. im sorta on a budget but i want a nice audio system for my 2000 bmw 323.. i honestly dont know much about car audio and i just started looking into it.. is there anyone or does anyone know someone that professionally installs systems in bmws for a good price? i went to one place and they quoted me $1075 for a alpine 9855 deck, installation, crossovers for my tweaters, some RF rca cables, some other cables i need for my batt or something, harnest, and kit for the dash.. am i getting jipped? because an amp and sub is not even included in that price.. im thinkin about a RF p4004 amp(2 chanels to front speakers of car and 2 chanels brigged to one for one 12" sub is that poss with this amp?) and a clarion sub which the guy at the store says are pretty good for their price. can anyone give me some recommendations for equipp, selling equip??.. or somone that specialize in installing systems for bmws for a good price..
btw in toronto area

thanks for your help, much appreciated

You have to pay for professional work.... what was the quote on labour alone ? Id expect to pay a shop rate of $45-60/hr

I might suggest sticking with your stock deck and just go with aftermarket speakers/amps.... that is unless the deck has some features you really want...

ya he was gona charge me 50/hr for about 6 hours it was suppose to be only about 3 hours but he said that it is a little more complicated to configure because of my stock amp and the fact that they have to run wires down the middle of my car and not the side.. i do like the stock cd but i am looking for a deck that plays mp3.
