Kicker kx 850.2 able to power 2 type r's?

Hi all.. I currently have a kicker kx 850.2. It puts out 850 bridged at 4 ohms.. I have it on 2 jbl gto1204 which can handle 300 watts rms but I want more and these subs are getting worn out..

I'm looking at getting 2 kicker cvr's or 2 alpine type r's.. I can get a crv for 220 or a type R for 250.. Which do u guys think is a better deal.. I've heard different stories about which is better but sorta leaning toward type Rs but at 1000 watts Rms can my amp push them good or can it push the cvrs better? I not planning on upgrading my amp to do this..

Thanks Dylan

Assuming you have the ability to build a decent box for either, I would look at the TypeR. Your amp should push them fine. In either case, make sure you get the right coil configuration: Single 2ohm, dual 4ohm, single 8ohm.
